Our Window Cleaner of the Month for June

Pedro

Pedro Sanjuán has been a commercial window cleaner for 14 years and runs his cleaning company Co-Advance Company SL in Zamora, Spain. He has also been selling tools for commercial cleaning for 7 years. The ErgoTec window squeegee was the first UNGER product he came into contact with. In his search for a solution for pure water cleaning, he found a reliable partner in UNGER, with whom he has remained to this day – although Pedro currently cleans exclusively in the traditional way with a washer and squeegee. At least one UNGER tool is used in each of his cleaning jobs.

“With the UNGER nLite brush, I have mastered jobs in record time!”

I like being a commercial cleaner because …

… the job challenges me. If a window is difficult to reach or if there are very large glass surfaces, I can only solve the task if I have enough imagination and master the cleaning techniques.

The individual cleaning techniques …

… require a great deal of practical experience. Whether pure water cleaning or traditional cleaning: skilled hands are required because it is important to handle and adjust the tools correctly depending on the requirements on site. Hanging from a rope or standing on a lifting platform, the challenges are completely different – it is particularly important to ensure safe working conditions.

You can tell someone is a cleaning professional by …

… the fact that he knows his tools in detail, including all their advantages and disadvantages, and has mastered the various techniques for the different cleaning methods. In addition, he must be able to organise himself and his work well and efficiently, especially when dealing with large-scale projects.

My favourite products from UNGER are …

… all types of telescopic poles. I always appreciate the high quality of the products.

An UNGER product that made my work particularly easy was …

… the water-fed nLite brush, 60 cm. I used it to clean the Miguel Delibes Auditorium in Valladolid in record time.

One of my most unusual cleaning jobs was …

… too many to count! In addition to the Miguel Delibes Auditorium, for example, the Science Park of the University of Valladolid, the dome of the AC Hotel Palacio de Santa Ana, the Río shopping centre, the facades of IKEA, the administrative building of the Junta de Castilla y León in Zamora, the courtyard of the Palace of the Provincial Council of Palencia, the Vicente Escudero city centre and many more.

I have always wanted to tell UNGER …

… that I would like an even larger brush for very large areas for pure water cleaning. UNGER has already fulfilled my second wish for a 2-in-1 washer for classic window cleaning with the VisaVersa Pro.
